CITY REALTY ARTICLE

This stunning, twin-tower development at 565 Broome Street in SoHo overlooking the Freeman Plaza approach to the Holland Tunnel was developed by Bizzi & Partners Development, Aronov Development, Halpern Real Estate Ventures, Cindat Capital Management and Michael Shvo.

The Renzo Piano Workshop was the architect.  It is Mr. Piano's first residential project in the city.  Mr. Piano was the architect also of the recently opened Whitney Museum of American Art next to the southern end of the High Line Elevated Park in the West Village, a hulking structure that looks like a huge battleship overlooking the Hudson River.

SLCE is the executive architect.  Rena Dumas Architecture Interieure is the interior designer.

The 30-story, reflective-glass towers have rounded corners and rise from a broad base that is deeply punctuated with thin indentations are the east and west sides and at the base of the towers.

The development includes 115 condominium apartments.

It is expected to be completed in 2018.
