Good Neighbor, Bad Neighbor

Who really lives in the Condo or Co-Op you are about to purchase?  We've all heard the horror stories.

  • Concerns buyers have about any particular Co-Op include the reasonableness of other shareholders when it comes to renovations, long-term building improvements, and handling day-to-day decisions.

  • Concerns buyers have about any particular Condo include the percentage of units that are held by investors vs. owner-occupants, percentage of units that are used as a second or third home, etc.

  • Concerns shareholders or owners have for prospective buyers are their financials, credit history, lifestyle, or motives for purchasing.

All of this research makes it very difficult for your neighbors to play pranks on you!

How to be a good neighbor:

  • Introduce yourself

  • Know your neighbors lifestyle

  • Who do you share walls with

  • What is the process for garbage removal

  • Communicate on a regular basis

  • Share news updates about the neighborhood

Enjoy
